Independent Short Course Accreditation Association
Certification given by ISCAA is internal and might not be accepted at other institutions unless specifically mentioned.
The vision, mission and work of ISCAA in terms of quality education is clearly indicated, thus the organization is underwritten by the public for the public, leading to accreditation and not a qualification.
ISCAA presents itself as an organization that has a vast knowledge base in it's members and their work.

Certification:
Certification is a process by which a third (independent) party gives written assurance that a product, process or service conforms to specified requirements based upon predetermined standards, an individual's qualification and knowledge for practice in a defined function or job profile.

Certification validates your knowledge of aspects of a particular job or career. It promotes continuing excellence in a job or career, helping you achieve and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base. In addition to providing you with a sense of professional pride and achievement, obtaining certification will reinforce the special knowledge and experience required for a particular job or career.

Certification provides formal recognition of an individual's demonstrated proficiency within, and comprehension of, a specified body of knowledge. Certification does not mean you get a registered qualification but it surely signifies that you are qualified!

Because a topic of interest can be presented in many different ways and there are many different methods of solving a problem, ISCAA looks at the structure, presentation and outcome of a course and do not take responsibility for contents, although it be scrutinized.

E.g.. There are many ways to skin a cat and one way cannot be better that the other.  All ways are looked at in the context of environment and knowledge. It is however the duty and freedom of a student to choose which course he/she does, and that depends on the student's life experience or view of a certain topic.

ISCAA holds the right to refuse accreditation to any course without infringement of rights and without reason.

Rigorous quality control and the mere fact that ISCAA certifications are then acknowledged by the public, developers, students, organizations etc. puts ISCAA on the same level as any other recognised accreditation body. therefore ISCAA demands acknowledgement.

Certification is not bought, received for life experiences or obtained quicker than at any other respected educational institution. Students earn acknowledgement by finishing ISCAA accredited courses at ISCAA acknowledged institutions and accumulating credits awarded to those courses. Accumulated credits in the form of ISCAA certificates can then be submitted for a higher qualification on the basis of RPL at institutions that offer programmes where the specific knowledge is part of a qualification programme.

INTEGRITY FAIR CONDUCT HONESTY
ISCAA will push forward to obtain recognition from the major accrediting bodies in the world by association and membership.

To protect the interest and credibility of both the courses and the association ISCAA will not be part of, or act in such a way that it be regarded as a diploma mill or scam.
Certificates will only be issued to students that complete the programme. Recognition of Prior Learning will be considered only when the student can present proof of attendance and completion.

All institutions presenting ISCAA accredited courses must keep record of all students' work for auditing.
